One thing thats always very difficult for buyers to get past...

Is...when sellers opt to stay home! It always creates a different type of showingfor sure! At a recent, we were greeted by the sellers children yelling to everyone in the house that we were there, something cooking in the presure cooker, in addition to the whole family being home, we were also greeted by the neighbours dogs' fecal matter outside, and a sleeping dude in a bed, just for fun.  The piece de resistance, was also that one of the 20 something yr olds was staring me and my client down, as if we were going to have to fightvour way out of the house.  Weird, if you simply dont want to sell your house, thats exactly what one shoukd do.  Typically when sellers stay home its a weird enough showing, and prevents a potential buyer from truly TRYING a house on for size.  Morale of the story.  Sellers need to stay out of the house for showings. You are not helping!
